Quick Trip Quilt

SUPPLY LIST:

The Quick Trip quilt is a fun quilt to use all of your wonderful spring fabrics in. You need to cut the strips for your quilt before class (top pink line). Please make a paste-up chart before class. The chart is a piece of paper with numbers 1-9 and 1-12 marked on it with a 1-inch sample fabric glued beside each number in the order you want to use them. There is a sample chart on the quilt in the store. You may also bring the chart to class and we will do it together. Please consider making twin size or larger, as you will not see the pattern in wall or lap size.

Read page 16 in the book for help with fabric placement.

Week 1: We will learn to sew our strips correctly so they don't warp.
Week 2: We will sew our quilt.
Week 3: Spray basting party with 505 spray only

Book:  Quick Trip Quilts
Sewing machine with foot control and electrical cord
Basic sewing supplies (i.e. scissors, straight pins, seam ripper etc.)
¼” patchwork presser foot
Size 80 machine needles
Rotary cutter & ruler 6” x 24”
Rotary cutting mat 18” x 22” or larger
Thread for piecing (to match fabric) and three bobbins of same thread

Fabric:
Cut into strips as per book prior to class
