Quick Trip Quilt

SUPPLY LIST:

- Large cutting mat 24" x 36"
- Rotary cutter and 6" x 24" ruler
- Your sewing machine. Don't forget the powercord and foot control! Machine should be read to sew with, neutral thread and several pre-wound bobbins.
- 1/4" Piecing Foot or #57 Foot for Bernina
- Scissors, seam ripper, general sewing supplies.
- Quick Trip Quilts Book - We will actually be doing the Quick Quarter Quilt

IMPORTANT! Please read before buying fabric.

1. Starting on Pg. 38, look at pictures for ideas of color placement and flow of colors. Read Pgs. 44-45 paying particular attention to section on placement of colors. Arrange colors in order and make a placement chart using Pg. 48 as a guide. Fabrics should be leftovers cut after cutting strips.
2. Cut all the 4" strips BEFORE class.
3. We will SEW STRIPS IN CLASS to prevent rainbows and waves.

Please refer to the book for the amount of fabric needed and how many 4" strips to be cut.
