Cutwork Sampler Class

Class #1 - Appliqué and Reverse Appliqué Techniques
Wed., February 15, 10am-12pm
-or- Tues., February 21, 6pm-8pm
Students will work within Cutwork software and Designer Plus software (if available) to create Appliqué pieces for embroidery. We will work with positive and negative pieces to create reverse Appliqué. We will create an appetizing design for use on any pre-made apron.

Class #2 - Cutting Quilt Pieces
Wed., March 21, 10am-12pm
-or- Tues., March 27, 6pm-8pm
Learn how to layout quilt pieces for maximum usage of space and least amount of cutting time.  We will be using Flip Flop Quilt pattern by Pie Plate Patterns to demonstrate.

Class #3 - The Look of Traditional Cutwork
Wed., April 18, 10am-12pm
-or- Tues., April 24, 6pm-8pm
We will work with a traditional design of cutwork while getting the precision and cleanliness of our Cutwork tool. We will add depth and uniqueness to cloth napkins.

Class #4 - All in One Software Program
Wed., May 16, 10am-12pm
-or- Tues., May 22, 6pm-8pm
Students will create and complete a Cutwork project entirely in the Cutwork Software. We will create a lovely throw pillow that takes minutes to create.

Class #5 - Stencils and Stamps
Wed., June 20, 10am-12pm
-or- Tues., June 26, 6pm-8pm
See how easy it is to make stencils and stamps for your other crafty projects with the Cutwork tool. We will work with freezer paper and foam to demonstrate the possibilities.
