Intermediate Quilting

Intermediate quilting is the next step up from our beginning quilting class! Beginning quilting is NOT a prerequisite, this class is also friendly to anyone with some quilting experience, but wants to sharpen their skills! In this class you'll make blocks such as School Girl's Puzzle, Hattie's trick, and Sister's choice!

Beginning Quilting

Learn how to quilt from start to finish! Using Alex Andersons beginning quilting book and your own choice of fabrics (we'll help you!), make this small sampler quilt. Learn how to make a nine-patch, log cabin, half-square triangles, and flying geese; learn how to machine quilt with a walking foot and a freemotion foot, learn how to measure for borders, and how to bind your quilt. This project is small enough to finish.

Jo's Stitch Lounge

Is there a sewing project you'd like to make but are a bit anxious about stitching on your own? Maybe you're a quilter and want to venture into garment sewing, or perhaps you have a class project you'd like some help completing. This class is for you! Includes personalized instruction plus impromptu demos and discussions on a variety of techniques relating to class projects. Must take Jo's Stitch Lounge Prep class first.
