Supplies:
- A Collage pattern
* Please read your pattern before class to understand the pattern steps; not all collage patterns are 100% the same. Also confirming the materials your pattern recommends you have, some of the materials you will need may not be listed below or materials listed below may not be needed, for the pattern you select.
- Fabric- the more fabric the better!!
* Fussy cutting, have fabric with motifs and flowers. The background of fabric is not important, the motifs are!
* Bring a variety of colors, light and dark colors.
* Fabric that has motifs and flowers in various sizes (large, medium and small).
* Small amounts of a lot of fabric work great! Don’t forget to look in your scrap fabric bag.
* Underlay fabric- some patterns recommend underlay fabric. This is the fabric that will be the shape of your animal or person and may peek through your collage. The underlay fabric can be solid or print but shouldn’t take away from your collage design when peeking through.
- Background of pattern- Please read your pattern before class to understand the pattern steps for the pattern. If background is required to be ready to build collage on, please bring background completed to do so.
- Pattern ease or Voile- you can use pattern ease or solid color voile to build your collage on OR you can build your collage directly on your background fabric.
- Embellishments you would like to add to your collage, not required but nice touch (crystals, buttons, charms, etc.).
