Supplies:

Per pattern:

Exterior: 1 fat quarter
Lining fabric: 1/2 yd (or 2/3 if directional)
Accent fabric: fat quarter or 1/4yd
Fusible woven interfacing like Pellon SF101: 1 3/4yds
Zipper for back pocket: 8"
Zipper for interior pocket: 6"
Cotton webbing strap: 1 1/2 yds (Available at Asheville Cotton Co in black, white, or natural off-white)
(2) 1" D-rings
(2) 1" swivel snaps for strap hardware
(1) 1" Slider
Optional (1) 3/4" D-ring
Optional (1) 3/4" wide x 1 3/4" swivel snap for bag closure3/4" x 12" piece of: leather, faux-leather, cork, or vinyl for closure

Polyester thread
water soluble marking pen or chalk liner
ruler
rotary cutter
size 90/14 or 100/16 denim or microtex needle
Optional: 3 rivets if using leather/cork/vinyl closure

We now have canvas at Asheville Cotton Co! Or your favorite quilting cottons work just as well!

HOMEWORK:
Cut out and label all bag pieces before class! This will increase likelihood of fin ishing your bag in class!
I would like to share a tip. Make a second copy of pages 14-18 of pattern pieces. Cut second set out for interfacing pattern pieces on the indicated dotted line on required pattern pieces.
