A sewing machine in good working condition
Rotary mat, 18x24" or larger
45mm rotary cutter
Straight pins
Safety pins
Twin size batting or larger
EITHER a 9.5" square up ruler OR a 12.5" square up ruler - depending on if you are making the lap size quilt with 9" blocks or the twin size quilt with 12" blocks.
Fabric:
***There are TWO DIFFERENT SIZES of blocks and quilts you can make.***
**FOR THE LAP SIZE QUILT (60"x60" finished size) (9"x9" blocks):
9 fat quarters
3 yards background fabric
1/2 yard binding fabric
3 3/4 yards for backing
**FOR THE LARGE TWIN SIZE QUILT (78"x78" finished size) (12"x12" blocks):
12 fat quarters
4 5/8 yards background fabric
5/8 yard binding fabric
4 3/4 yards backing fabric
"Beginning Quilting" is NOT a required prerequisite to this class.
