Little Lady Doll with Charlie Patricolo

 We will be making the Little Lady, but each of you will be able to make yours unique by the fabrics you choose.   There are also 3 different outfits that you can choose from.   Dress, skirt and top or pants and top.    The dress and the skirt could be a canvas for embellishment.    

I will be bringing all you would need for the body, head, hands and hair.  

Here are the fabric amounts you would need.

Bodies (torso, arms and legs) I will have a variety of flesh colored fabrics.   I will also have a little black and white stripe for legs if you wish, but if you want to use something else for legs, you will need a piece of cotton fabric    10” x 10”

Pants  8” x 16”   cotton or similar fabric

Skirt     10” x 20”   cotton or silk fabric

Knit top -  tights or thin knee socks or thin knit fabric  6” x 6”

Dress   12” x 18”   cotton or similar fabric

Please bring thread (poly) to match,

Beads, small buttons, ribbon to go with your fabric choices 

I will be bringing a selection of good felt for hats and shoes. 

I will have a few options for beads and perle cotton for optional closures and decor.  

I will be bringing a selection of yarns, but you might bring in things from home as well.

In addition to these items, everyone should have their sewing machine – in good working order.   If you have not used your machine in the past few months, please take a little time BEFORE class to make sure you have what you need.   Power cord,  small needle, a couple of empty bobbins,   Make sure you remember how to wind a bobbin.   If you have an open toe foot or a clear plastic foot for your machine, this is a perfect use for that.

scissors for cutting fabric (big and little)

Pinking shears if you have them

scissors for cutting paper. 

Straight pins -    and small (like applique pins) if you have them                                                                                              

Stuffing tools if you have any -   I will have hemostats for use or optional purchase

We will have a few irons/boards to share, but if you have a small iron and pad, it might be helpful.
