Embroidery Camp

Join us for two full days of machine embroidery fun!

Whether this is your first time touching an embroidery machine or you're a seasoned pro, you'll love our Embroidery Camp.

We'll make at least five cool projects:
- Folk Art Stuffed Felt Ornament
- Monogrammed Wreath Dinner Plate
- 3D Mounted Butterfly Shadow Box
- Mason Jar Topper
- Crazy Quilted Bee Mug Rug (quilted in the hoop!)

You'll learn:
- How to download designs
- How to combine and resize designs in your machine
- How to make freestanding lace
- How to quilt in the hoop
- How to make a fabric-covered glass plate
- How to applique in the hoop

Your camp fee includes:
- Two days of Instruction
- All fabric
- All stabilizers
- All project supplies except thread
- Lunches and Snacks

If you own an embroidery machine, you'll want to bring it so that you can "bond" with it. We have a limited number of floor model machines if you don't own an embroidery machine or if you're thinking about upgrading and want to try a new one. If you're interested in purchasing a new machine prior to Embroidery Camp, let us know ASAP so we can give you the best Event Pricing!

• Machine with Embroidery accessories
• Hoop(s) - 4" x 4" and 5" x 7" or  6" x 10"
• At least two bobbins
• White and Black Bobbin fill (or Black Embroidery Thread)
• A variety of needles such as 90/14 Embroidery or 90/14 Sharps
• Small Thread Snips
• Small Scissors to trim Applique fabric

• White, Red and Black or Very Dark Gray #4174
• Light, Medium and Dark Browns for Pine Cones
• Light, Medium and Dark Greens for Wreath
• Four Turquoises, Light to Dark for Butterfly
• Metallic for Butterfly (Gold, Silver, Copper or Pearlescent)
