Supplies:
Sewing machine in good working order
1/4" presser foot
Good quality 50 wt. cotton thread
Something that is quilted and ready to bind, at least 10x10". Could be a hot pad, placemat, or similar. If you are bringing something small like hot pads, you may want to bring 2-3+ for practice.
Binding - either pre-made single fold bias tape or homemade bias made from 2.5" wide strips pressed in half. Bring a length that is at least 10" longer than the total circumference of your project! It is recommended that it be a contrasting color to your project so that it will be easier to see and follow.
No homework other than to make sure whatever you are putting binding on in class is already quilted, trimmed, and ready to bind!
