Asheville Cotton Co. is a large, vibrant quilt store started from scratch 26 years ago by a husband and wife team. We have learned many things over the years, and are eager to find the perfect co-worker who loves to work with us. We like to think of ourselves as “enablers” rather than sales people and pride ourselves in finding the perfect fabrics and sewing machines for our customers. We are proud to have created annual fundraisers to benefit our community, including Manna FoodBank, Santa Pal and Hope Chest for Women. Over the years we have raised tens of thousands of dollars for various charities. We feel strongly that our customers are our friends and work hard to enrich those relationships. Work hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 9:30am to 5:30pm.
Physical requirements:
-
Able to walk and stand for long periods of time
-
Able to lift 50+ pounds (a large sewing machine) - Although this is not a requirement, it really is helpful to us
-
Able to carry and move fabric bolts around the store (they’re heavier than they look)
Does This Sound Like Fun to You?
We’d love to talk! Please email us at ashevillecottonco@gmail.com. A resume is not necessary, but a list of work experiences is helpful. |
