Hi! I hope this finds you all safe and sound. I have been getting reports of some sewing friends who lost all of their equipment. They have lost sewing machines (two that I know of so far who had recently purchased a new machine at ACC), sewing furniture, rotary cutting supplies, fabrics and pretty much every single thing they need to be able to quilt and sew. If you have extras of any equipment you'd like to donate, please bring those items so that we can share the love.

If you are willing and able, please consider purchasing an ACC Gift Card for Others here. We'll be distributing these to sewists in need. If you know someone specific in need, please email us at ashevillecottonco@gmail.com. https://www.ashevillecottonco.com/.../Gift-Card-for... You don't need PayPal to check out; just check out as a guest.

If you know someone specific who would love a gift card, or if you would like to support us during this time by purchasing a gift card for yourself to use later, you can get one at this link. Just write who it's for in the notes if it's for someone else, but even purchasing gift cards for yourself right now would be a huge help! https://www.ashevillecottonco.com/shop-online.htm
We are working back and forth from home (there's still no internet at the store) to update our online shopping with cool new stuff! We have a super cute rag quilt bundle, and a bunch of BATIK bundles at sale prices! We're adding more daily. Please check it out and help us get some of this beautiful fabric made into beautiful things. Sewing is good for the soul! https://www.ashevillecottonco.com/shop-online.htm
We are still planning our Stash Bash Silent Auction for Tuesday evening, November 12. We'll be looking for donations of fabric, kits, quilt tops, supplies, unfinished projects, books, patterns, etc. At this time, it would really help us out if you hold onto these items (and categorize fabrics into bundles if you have time!) because our space is limited. Make plans to come on Nov. 12. It's super fun and great deals are everywhere! All proceeds will go to Santa Pal right here in WNC as usual. I'm sure the need will be unprecedented this year!

Several have asked me about taking pillowcases and quilts to give back out to the community. We will be organizing something of that nature in the future, so if you want to work on that, please do so! Hang onto them for the moment until I can get that effort organized. We have so many neighbors without homes, and that's where I'd like to concentrate those efforts.

If you know someone who would love to know about our store, would you do me a favor and please share this post on your social media? We're starting to get online orders from all over the country, and it's really helping us out!

Thanks for being our friends and customers, and love and hugs to you all!
