It's been so nice seeing your smiling eyes!

We're taking in-store fabric and notion shopping appointments. The afternoon appointments are a little longer. Also, we're now allowing a limited number of walk-ins, 10a-3p, Mon-Sat. We're closed for lunch and sanitizing 12:15p-1p. When you arrive, you'll be invited to wash or sanitize your hands and wear a mask. If you have a question or special need regarding this, please email us at ashevillecottonco@gmail.com. If you don't have a mask, please let us know ahead of time and we'll make one for you.

We have a very active Online Store - Brand new fabric and more added almost daily. Choose pickup or $5 flat rate shipping. We're here Mon-Sat, 10a-3p for pickup, no appointment necessary (closed for lunch and sanitizing 12:15p-1p).

Special Orders Are Our Specialty!
Email us at ashevillecottonco@gmail.com if you have a special order request, such as you want us to pick out a quilt, or you're in need of something you don't see on the website. We'll exchange photos if you have something to match or something in mind!

We want to keep you sewing! Email us at ashevillecottonco@gmail.com with any questions you have about your sewing machine. We're having really good results trouble-shooting via email. We are not taking in machines on a regular basis at this time, but do have an appointment wait list going. Please email us first, and we'll go from there.

This is a very special year for our annual show, as it's the tenth anniversary! This year, we are doing the show as a virtual event. Believe me, the photos are just gorgeous!!

MANNA FoodBank is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving Western North Carolina since 1983 and an accredited member of Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger relief organization. In fiscal year 2018/2019 MANNA distributed 19.8 million pounds of food through some 200+ community-based food assistance agencies in 16 Western North Carolina counties.

Quilt makers whose quilts receive the most money in donations to MANNA will win valuable prizes! We'll also have prizes for the most popular quilts on Facebook, but remember, the purpose of this show is to raise money, so the best prizes will go to the entries that earn the most money. This event typically raises several thousand dollars each year. Over the years, Asheville Cotton Co. and our customers have contributed more than $25,000 to MANNA FoodBank. That's more than 100,000 meals!

The ACC Customer Quilt Show will be virtual through June 30. Please be sure to share the show with your friends!

This month, we'll once again be holding our $5 Quilt Club as a Facebook Live event. Tune in at https://www.facebook.com/AshevilleQuiltShop/ on Friday at 1pm to see all the new stuff that has arrived this month (believe me, there's a lot!), and hear all the latest news! We will have boxes inside the door with $5 Quilt block kits starting at 10am on Friday morning. As always, if you made your Regular April/May blocks, you'll get one for free. Any blocks you need above that are $5 each. You can pay with cash in the box, or let us know when you arrive and we can take a credit card. We are taking appointments and a limited number of walk-ins, so feel free to shop while you're here picking up blocks. We're here Monday through Saturday, 10a-3p, and closed for lunch and sanitation 12:15-1p.  We will also have blocks for online purchase at our online store. www.ashevillecottonco.com.

​The Carolina Shop Hop has been rescheduled for Friday, September 11 through Saturday, September 26. Yep, that's two full weeks, and THREE weekends for your convenience. You can see more information at www.CarolinaShopHop.com. We look forward to seeing everyone at the hop! 

I just wanted to add a personal note to thank you guys for all the well-wishes and the business you've thrown our direction. Without your support, this overwhelming time would be even more incredibly difficult.

Also, I've been asked by multiple non-profit organizations if we have masks to donate. If you have masks you would like to donate, I'll find a good home for them. You can drop off Monday - Saturday, 10a-3p, (except during our 12:15-1p lunch/sanitation time), or mail them to Asheville Cotton Co., 1378 Hendersonville Road Suite B, Asheville, NC 28803. Thanks again for your help!
