This year, we decided it was best to hold our quilt show virtually again, and look forward to holding it in person in the shop next year. Regardless, we have received 74 entries this year, and the photos are absolutely gorgeous!
You are able to vote for your favorite entries in two ways. The first is by “liking” the individual quilt photos on Facebook. (Go to our Facebook page and find the "2021 Customer Quilt Show" photo album on our timeline or under photos, and like or love your favorite quilts.)
The other way to vote is by visiting our website and purchasing votes. Visit www.ashevillecottonco.com and find the Quilt show album under the "Shop" category, and make a donation toward any quilt or quilts. 100% of the donations go to MANNA FoodBank right here in Asheville.
**MAKE SURE that you are selecting “curbside pickup” at checkout so that you are not charged an extra $5 for “shipping”.**
MANNA FoodBank is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving Western North Carolina since 1983 and an accredited member of Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger relief organization. MANNA is located in Asheville, North Carolina on Swannanoa River Road. In fiscal year 2019/2020 MANNA distributed 21.5 million pounds of food through some 200+ community-based food assistance agencies in 16 Western North Carolina counties.
Quilt makers whose quilts receive the most money in donations to MANNA will win valuable prizes! We'll also have prizes for the most popular quilts on Facebook, but remember, the purpose of this show is to raise money, so the best prizes will go to the entries that earn the most money. This event typically raises several thousand dollars each year. Over the years, Asheville Cotton Co. and our customers have contributed more than $25,000 to MANNA FoodBank. That's more than 100,000 meals!
